   Consider This Title

While tropical forests represent some of the world's most complex ecosystems, their conservation begins with a rather simple step - support from individuals and organizations like yours.

When confronted with a statement like this, it's natural to ask yourself is it possible to save a rainforest? And, does supporting rainforest conservation really make a difference in the overall scheme of things? A more realistic question might be, why should we care?

Legitimate questions. Let's look at them in two ways.

Bullet From an industry prospective, it's likely that your organization has current or potential economic interests in tropical forest activities. When you consider how quickly tropical forests are being depleted, it's fair to say that these resources could be lost forever. This may have a significant impact on your company.

Bullet From a personal and global perspective, we are impacted every day by the damage being done to tropical rainforests. The incredible loss of animal life, coupled with the planetary effects of deforestation on one of the world's most diverse ecosystems, is mind-boggling to say the least. In our view, every person and every country has a vested interest in reversing the global impact of this trend.

And yes, we believe it is possible to save the rainforests. In most cases, indigenous plant life is a renewable resource. We know we have the knowledge and technology today to adequately protect these resources for future generations. What we lack are the funds to educate and advocate for sustainable forest methods that can preserve a resource that none of us can afford to lose.

What we also lack is your support.

Please consider the benefits of becoming a Tropical Forest Foundation contributor - both the tangible and intangible rewards. It's one of the most important decisions you or your company will make in the next decade.
